There are still some places left on the Mindfulness for Wellbeing course starting on Monday evenings in Windsor from 28th September.
The 8 week mindfulness programme is based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) and MBCT (mindfulness based cognitive therapy). The course will provide the opportunity to learn how mindfulness can help enhance wellbeing and, most importantly, to develop skills and tools for managing the stresses and pressures of everyday life.
Research has shown that mindful meditation can improve our mental and physical health.
‘ this is a very exciting development – showing how ancient wisdom combined with modern science can improve mental health. In particular this treatment can tackle recurrent depression but the principles have a much wider application to our lives’.
